Bargoed Youth faced local rivals Penallta in a Dragons League fixture under the lights at Bargoed Park on Tuesday night. The Young Bulls put in an impressive performance, and came away with a 27-5 victory against a resilient and dogged Penallta outfit. Bargoed led 12-5 after a tight first half, but an excellent second half performance saw them pull away. There were tries for Ieuan Morgan, Luke Cusack, Keaton Davies, Morgan Lloyd and Jake Rees, with Rhys Thomas kicking a conversion.
