Bargoed Briefs 

Good to see the senior squad return to training tonight, great turnout and lots of smiling faces as the boys start on the road back to playing. 

The coaching group of Aled James, Ian Evans, Mike Pugsley, Matthew Hutcheon and Player Coach Rhys Buckley put the players through their paces along with S&C Guru Declan Morris. 

The 12 week plan designed by the coaching staff is being implemented with the intention of returning the players to contact on a gradual basis,  with skill development and strength and conditioning at the top of the priority list. 

It was great to see the boys who have transitioned out of youth rugby training well and integrating with the more experienced players in a great learning environment. 

The seniors join the Youth and M&J’s who have been training for a couple of weeks and all look in good shape as they enjoy a return to rugby after a long lay off. 

Congratulations to Jack Chamberlain and his partner Shannon on the birth of their son this week. Congratulations also to club medic Richard Dare and his family on the recent birth of his grandson and his own birthday. All the best from all at Bargoed RFC
