Everyone at Bargoed RFC are saddened by the recent passing of David Rogers an ex Player, Committee man and devoted supporter. 

Dai is the father of our Youth team coach, Steve Rogers, and grandfather of current players Lewis Cooper and Dylan Rogers, two fine young prospects. 

He was up at Bargoed Park for the last game that Bargoed played against their old rivals from Scotland, Hawick Quins back in March, watching his grandson Lewis who played in that game.

He was very proud of his family, and the boys in turning out in Bargoed colours as he had as a young man.

Our condolences go out to the family and friends of a great guy.
