Bargoed Warriors returned to action after a couple of weeks off with a few having enjoyed their Xmas pudding over the festive period.

However this didn’t prevent the Warriors putting in an excellent performance with a great win against a very competitive Caerleon side some great attacking rugby shown by all the team

Bargoed played some excellent rugby throughout and the try scorers were Adam Jones, Ian Jenkins, Luke Ellaway, Ashley Gibson, Christian Cuss and Owain Cooper with Julian Mogg getting the extras with a 36-8 victory.

They now sit in the 3rd place in the WRU 2nd XV Comference, five points behind leaders Penallta with a game in hand. Next week they travel to Risca as they look to close the gap in the Conference.
