Bargoed Briefs It was a mixed weekend for Bargoed RFC in terms of results with the 1st XV winning at Bedwas RFC but the Warriors lost out in the Cup semi final to a strong Brecon RFC side. The 1st XV travelled to Bedwas knowing that this is always a difficult game, and a real test, particularly after Bargoed’s recent victory in the Championship Cup semi final. Bargoed also needed to perform and back up last week’s fine performance in the Championship Cup Final at the Principality Stadium. However it was Bedwas who opened the scoring with a try after only 3 minute.....
