Bargoed Briefs

This week the 1st XV travel to Cardiff Arms Park to take on Cardiff RFC in another Principality Premiership clash on Saturday. This one kicks off at midday, followed by Wales v Argentina next door, and then just down the road Wales v Serbia in a World Cup qualifier at the Cardiff City Stadium. The boys will be looking to make amends for the narrow and agonising defeat to Cross Keys on Friday night. Good luck lads we're all behind you.

The Warriors have a midweek game and travel to in form Dowlais RFC on Thursday evening for a 7.15 p.m. kick off. It will be an interesting battle up at Dowlais top as Bargoed RFC Coach Lee Pearson will be looking to his outwit his old friend and ex Bargoed RFC Second Row, Craig Lynch who is now player coaching up at Dowlais alongside another ex Bargoed player in tough as teak Adam Cullen. It should be a cracker!!

The Youth are also in action travelling up the valley to take on Rhymney RFC on Friday evening up at the War Memorial Park. Kick off time and fixture TBC.

The club is open on Saturday for the Wales v Argentina game followed by the Wales v Serbia game. Let's hope we have treble celebrations on Saturday evening with the 1st XV leading the way!!!!
