Bargoed RFC
Rugby is back at Bargoed RFC with the Mini and Juniors back in action, and the Youth team recording a hard fought 17-12 win at Ebbw Vale on Saturday.
This Saturday sees the 1st XV squad travel to Glamorgan Wanderers for a pre season friendly. Kick off is at 12.20 pm
The senior squad have been training hard since May in preparation for the start of the new season and will be competing in the National Championship Cup in a pool with local rivals Bedwas and Cross Keys.
The Youth travel down the road to near neighbours Penallta, in their final pre season friendly before kicking off next week in the Dragons Youth Competition. Kick off is 1.30 pm.
The Warriors will return to action on 7 August as they take on Treharris in the Mid District Rugby Union 2nd XV League.
The Lions v Springboks second test will be on the big screen at Bargoed RFC on Saturday kick off 5.00 pm. Come and join us and cheer the Lions on 🦁
